Joe Thompson is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of the RhoNell Manna & Associates financial services advisory firm. .Previously, Joe Thompson was the Senior Sarbanes Oxley Manager for Amynta Group based in the Dallas/Forth Worth, Texas area, one of the leading insurance distribution and services companies with over $1.5 billion in generated premium and 1,800 associates globally. Amynta operates in three primary segments: Managing General Agencies, Warranty, and Specialty Risk. Prior to working for Amynta Group, Joe worked as a Manager of Internal Audit/SOX Compliance at AmTrust Financial Services for eleven years. AmTrust is a leading provider of workers compensation insurance, extended warranty coverage, specialty middle market property & casualty insurance and a host of related product and services. Mr. Thompson was responsible for the compliance and governance of more than $22 Billion in Tier II investment assets under management. Prior to coming to AmTrust Financial Services, Joe was a Risk Advisory professional with KPMG, LLP in New York.
Joe Thompson received a Bachelor of Science degree from The New York Institute of Technology with a major in Business Administration/Finance in 1982. In addition, Joe was awarded a Masters of Business Administration degree (with a concentration in Finance) from Rutgers University in 1999.From 1996 through 2003, Joe served as a member of the Board of Trustees at First Baptist Church (East Elmhurst, New York). During his tenure he was appointed Vice Chairmen and also served as interim Chairman of the Board. From April 2002 through February 2004, Mr. Thompson served as Project Team Leader for the Harlem Small Business Initiative Pilot under the direction of the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Foundation. The HSBI Pilot provided business and technical support to Harlem area sole proprietorships under the direction of President Bill Clinton and the foundation.Joe is a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association. In addition, he has been a financial supporter of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. In addition, Joe is an alumni member of Rutgers University Business School and served on the Minority Advisory Council at Rutgers University. In 2006, Joe Thompson was inducted into the New York Institute of Technology Athletics Hall of Fame as part of the NCAA Mens Basketball Finalist team of 1980. In addition, Joe is the 2nd Vice President on the Executive Board of the I.A.A.B.O. Board 37.Mr. Thompson resides in the Netherwood Heights/Sleepy Hollow historic district of Plainfield, New Jersey.
Roger King is also Co-Founder and Managing Partner of RhoNell Manna & Associates. In addition,
Mr. King is currently employed by GP Strategies Corporation as a Senior Training Analyst. His duties entail training relationship managers of HSBC in various corporate disciplines including but not limited to credit, sales, international trade, leadership, and bank systems. He was previously employed by HSBC in a similar capacity and also worked with HSBC was as a Relationship Manager in downtown Manhattan (New York City) where he assisted business customers in growing their business through various strategies and programs. His prior employers include, JP Morgan Chase and The Bank of New York. Roger has over 30 years of experience in financial services which also includes experience in the mutual fund industry. His interests include golf, football, basketball, reading, jazz and other genres of music. His passion of working with the young men and women of the community remains a primary focus as he strives to ensure they become productive contributors to society. He helps these young adults achieve their goals through Recreational Inner-City Sports & Education (RISE). This non-profit organization has been in existence of more than 35 years and reaches young men and women of the community through various programs. In addition, Roger’s current role afforded him the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the United States and internationally. Roger’s major area of expertise focuses on Credit, International Trade and Supply Chain Management. Leadership and Compliance. Mr. King resides in Haworth, New Jersey.
